Description
The NTN Freeride telemark bindings are immensely strong and ideal for resort skiing as well as off-piste freeride skiing.
The brake arms/stoppers measure 110mm in width. It is feasible to purchase stoppers separately in widths of either 95mm or 125mm.
These bindings offer a straightforward step-in and step-out mechanism, featuring a mode for downhill skiing and another for uphill walking - naturally maintaining free heels at all times.
The NTN Freeride is Rottefella's more robust version of their telemark bindings. They provide excellent stability and rapid response, resulting in effective ski control. The bindings feature a single heel lift setting of 50mm.
Compatibility:
Compatible exclusively with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.
Flexibility (Powertubes with different flexibilities are available for purchase separately):
- The small version includes a soft (green) powertube for a gentle flex.
- The large version includes a medium (blue) powertube for a moderate flex.
Rottefella advises using green powertubes for small boots under 26.5 Mondopoint and blue powertubes for large boots over 26.5 Mondopoint.
Sizes:
- The Small size accommodates Scarpa and Crispi boots sizing from 22.0 to 26.0 Mondopoint, and Garmont and Scott boots sizing from 22.0 to 25.5 Mondopoint.
- The Large size fits Garmont and Scott boots sized 26.0 Mondopoint and above, and Scarpa and Crispi boots sized 26.5 Mondopoint and above.
Note: These bindings do not include conventional, ISO-certified heel and toe release mechanisms. However, Rottefella has incorporated a release function – we adhere to Rottefella's guidelines when installing and setting up the release function of the bindings.

"Quick service and delivery. Better price than I could get in the US. Have had the binding before so no surprises. A great binding to use at hills."

"Excellent down hill telly binding. Well suited for aggressive skiers. Great for carving in natural or groomed trails. Quick response, so grant in moguls and pretty much anything the mountain throws at you. Very robust (had mine 10 years, full seasons). Great if you have more than one pair of skis, because very easily switchable form on pair of sticks to the next. I would not recommend for back country and ascension because too heavy. Awesome free ride binding. Won,t come off easily of you land a fall."
