How to Assemble a Custom Skateboard

1. Begin by removing the backing, which is the non-adhesive part
2. Next, apply the griptape to the deck (start at one end and work upwards)
3. Score the griptape using an Allen key or a screwdriver
4. Employ a box knife to trim any surplus from the griptape – always cut from below at approximately 45°
5. Smooth the edges using the rough side of the griptape scraps
6. Make perforations in the griptape where the bolts will pass through, using an Allen key or a screwdriver
7. Insert the bolts into these openings
8. Secure the trucks onto the four bolts
9. Attach the locking nuts and tighten them in a cross-diagonal arrangement
10. Replicate this procedure for the other truck
11. Utilise the truck axle for installing the wheel bearings
12. Ensure that the speed rings are positioned on both the top and bottom
13. Firmly tighten the locking nut and ensure that the wheel can rotate freely
14. Repeat the process for the remaining wheels
