Africa Skate Tour

The Africa Skate Tour is a small but meaningful collaboration between SkatePro and Senegalese freestyle skater, Zépé Fadialas.

Zépé is currently based in Europe, but he had a strong wish to reconnect with his Senegalese roots by spreading the joy of freestyle skating in the streets of Ziguinchor. He needed to bring some extra gear to lend out during his events, but only as much as he could carry on the plane – no more, no less.

Giving kids the chance to experience the joy and inspiration of skating is exactly the kind of initiative we passionate about supporting through SkatePro Giveback.

SkatePro’s Contribution to Africa Skate Tour

SkatePro offered to supply Zépé with all the gear he needed for the tour. With inline skates, spare parts, protective gear, and apparel, Zépé set off to showcase his skills and teach the local kids of Ziguinchor the art of skating.

Zépé sent us a bunch of pictures and videos after the tour, and some of this can be viewed on his Instagram. We enjoyed every moment of it, and we want to thank Zépé for going on this mission to spread positivity and joy!
