Purchasing Scooter Griptape

The function of griptape for stunt scooters is to enhance grip and control on the deck. Griptape resembles a large sticker with sandpaper on the surface.

Griptape ought to be replaced routinely, either when it wears out, leaving it without sand, or when large portions of it are missing. Contact with water and moisture will significantly reduce the life expectancy of griptape.

Griptape available at SkatePro is generally pre-cut for stunt scooters to a standard size, but some griptape is intended for skateboards, which will require you to cut it down yourself.

Ensure you remove any existing griptape and clean the deck thoroughly before applying fresh griptape.
